I am best described as a: Permaculture Practitioner

A little bit about me...: I am a Global citizen raised in Vermont. I work to unify grassroots initiatives and bring awareness to issues and their solutions.

Since 2005 I have been building cob bread ovens and baking sourdough bread sharing these skills with eco-villages, schools, communities and friends. During the winter months my wife and I travel to developing countries to network and skill-sharing, we have built composting toilets, solar dehydrators and ovens, rocket stoves, gardens and composting systems. In 2010 we completed a PDC in Burlington VT and have since been involved in the Permaculture organization, in my wife's home country of Switzerland. This winter we will be part of the "flying crew" in a PDC+ with Bernard Alonso in Auroville, India, where we will be implementing a Permaculture design for the local community increasing their resilience.

I Blog at Vermont For Evolution and Vermont Commons about Vermont issues, initiatives and events from a Global perspective. I focus my articles and content on bring awareness to the new paradigm of a local human-scale, ethical and a subsistent Society and the passing of the old consumer paradigm. I also publish a daily e-News paper The Food Watch Daily that follows the food industry, sustainable agriculture, permaculture, organic standards and the likes.
